The Depot Restaurant

Welcome to The Depot Restaurant, Oneonta's “hidden treasure” offers you casual family dining at its finest. The Depot offers lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, and dinner all day on Sunday. We feature Italian and American cuisine with many daily specials prepared by the area's greatest staff. All of your favorite Poultry, Steak, Seafood, Pork and pasta dishes can be found at The Depot, as well as a vast selection of mouthwatering entrees that our local clientele enjoy.

The Depot holds a unique piece of Oneonta's Railroad history as our building celebrated its 100th Birthday in 1999. Originally built as a combination Passenger/Freight station to serve the Ulster and Delaware Railroad. Oneonta was once the home of the largest turntable and roundhouse in the world, and our fascination with trains continues to this day. Although converted into a restaurant in 1974, you will still find many photographs and artifacts relating to our past.

Today, The Depot offers Oneonta's very first pizza recipe, originated in 1952, and very well known throughout the area. Catering facilities and gift certificates are available, as well as occasional Live Entertainment. Enjoy dining on the main floor, outdoors on our deck, upstairs in the old freight room, or simply gather with friends at our bar.
